Michelle and Devon were married on May 30, 2026 at the Bissell Treehouse, up on the hill inside John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. The morning started downtown, high up in a hotel room with the dress in the window and the whole west side of the city behind it. Everything after that happened in the trees.

The Treehouse gives you two completely different days depending on the hour. Green, shaded, and quiet in the afternoon along the trails below the building; then, after dark, string lights and lit sculptures turning the grounds into something closer to a garden at night. We do not get to film that second half anywhere else.
